Anthony VanNoy, educated at Ball State University where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Legal Administration and Public Law and the University of Dayton where he earned a Doctorate degree in Jurisprudence, is an accomplished civil and criminal trial attorney with practice emphasis in the areas of catastrophic injury and wrongful death matters. VanNoy, at the young age of 35, has made a significant mark in his professional career having served as legal counsel in several high profile cases which afforded him national recognition via television interviews on NBC’s Dateline and ABC’s Good Morning America.
In a world of ever changing rules and regulations, VanNoy keeps abreast of new developments in the field as a member of professional organizations, including the Association of Trial Lawyers of America; National Bar Association; Ohio State Bar Association; as well as the Dayton Bar Association and the DBA’s Certified Grievance Committee. VanNoy has been asked to serve on the Committee to appoint the new Federal Public Defender, as well as continuing his service on the Southern District of Ohio Bar Examination Committee for the United States District Court. He also holds licensure with the State of Ohio and United States District Court for the Southern District of Ohio.
In the fall of 2006, VanNoy started a new chapter in his career by becoming an Adjunct Professor at the University of Dayton School of Law, guiding students through the complex arena which is today’s law practice, VanNoy gives these up-and-coming attorneys insight from a current practitioner’s viewpoint.
In his free time, VanNoy serves as a board member providing legal guidance to non-profit organizations, namely, the National Coalition for the Protection of Children & Families; Rays of Hope; Legal Aid of Western Ohio, Inc., and Advocates for Basic Legal Equality, Inc. Mr. VanNoy serves as President and Chief Executive Officer of Advantage Collection Consultants, LLC. This corporation, founded in 2006, is a debt collection entity providing insights to clients concerning asset location and recovery as well as debt collection practices and procedure.

Michael L. Wright holds a Bachelor of Science in mechanical engineering and a Doctorate in Jurisprudence from the University of Cincinnati. His practice focuses on catastrophic injury, wrongful death and medical malpractice. Wright is admitted to practice law in Ohio, Florida, United States Patent and Trademark Office, and in the Federal Court of the Southern District of Ohio.
Prior to founding Wright & VanNoy LPA, Inc. Wright held several professional positions. He worked as a manufacturing engineer at the General Motors Corporation, served as an intern in the Cincinnati Public Defenders Office, an worked as an intern at the Michigan Bar of Intellectual Property Firm of Harness, Dicker and Pierce. Wright also worked as a research reference attorney at the Lexis-Nexis Corporation.
Wright is active in various professional organizations including the Ohio State Bar Association, Thurgood Marshall Law Society, African American Chamber of Commerce and the American Trial Lawyer Association.
When not working or volunteering, he enjoys deep-sea fishing and most outdoor sports including golf, soccer and baseball.
Looking ahead, Wright plans to continue his firm’s mission by being the voice of the little guy. He plans to continue with more national cases as well as meaningful pro-bono suits other attorneys turn away. Wright intends to leave an indelible mark on the industry.

Jeremiah Denslow joined Wright and VanNoy L.P.A. as an associate in the fall of 2006. He is a trial attorney and has litigated a number of civil and criminal cases in various courts across the state of Ohio. Denslow has an extremely diverse practice, ranging from the representation of injured victims to advocating on behalf of indigent defendants. He has earned a reputation as an aggressive attorney who fights for his clients with the utmost tenacity and zeal.
Prior to joining Wright and VanNoy, Denslow worked for the Montgomery County Prosecutor’s Office, representing the citizens of the State of Ohio. As an assistant prosecuting attorney, he gained extensive experience in the criminal justice system, including juvenile delinquency, child protection, and the most serious criminal felonies. He has handled a number of jury trials and gained invaluable experience in virtually all aspects of courtroom procedure.
Denslow is a longtime resident of the greater Dayton area, graduating from West Carrolton High School in 1993. He is a 2001 graduate of the University of Cincinnati College of Law, where he was selected to serve on the Moot Court Team and participate in the Judicial Extern Program. Jeremiah is also a 1997 graduate of Bowling Green State University where he committed himself to academic excellence and community involvement by making the Dean’s List and participating in numerous extracurricular activities.
Denslow is a member of the Dayton and State of Ohio Bar Associations. He is also a member of the Warren and Greene County Bar Associations. He is admitted to practice in the state of Ohio and the United States District Court for the Southern District of Ohio. Jeremiah currently lives in Miamisburg with his wife Jennifer, an assistant prosecuting attorney for Montgomery County. They are parishioners of the St. Henry Catholic Church in Miami Township Ohio.

David J. Smith is an associate at Wright & VanNoy, LPA, Inc., where he practices in Probate/Estate Planning, Business and Real Estate law. Prior to joining Wright & VanNoy, Smith worked as a research reference attorney at the LexisNexis Corporation in Miamisburg, Ohio.
Smith has roots in the greater-Dayton area having graduated from Stebbins High School in 1999. From Stebbins, he earned a Bachelor of Science in Sports Management from Wilmington College in 2003, graduating cum laude. In addition to his academic accomplishments, Smith played on the varsity soccer team and served his fraternity as president, amongst other extracurricular activities.
Smith graduated from the Pettit College of Law at Ohio Northern University in May, 2006. He is licensed to practice law in the State of Ohio and the United States District Court for the Southern District Court of Ohio. Smith has professional associations with the Ohio State Bar Association and Dayton Bar Association. David currently resides in Riverside with his wife Rachel.
